SLICE Fellowship

The SLICE committee are looking for enthusiastic, engaged, clinically excellent, accomplished educators to join our group, so we can continue to offer the best educational experiences in critical care echocardiography.

Have you: 

•⁠  ⁠Got a passion for critical care echocardiography?

•⁠  ⁠Completed a focused echocardiography accreditation and use your skills in your daily clinical practice?

•⁠  ⁠Undertaken, or plan to undertake, a fellowship or advanced accreditation in echocardiography?

•⁠  ⁠Interested in joining a group of senior clinicians who are dedicated to offer high-quality, international education and mentorship for the next generation?

 

If so, you can apply for mentorship, guidance and financial support from the SLICE committee.  This includes

1.⁠ ⁠Career help, guidance and support in making the right decision based on your career goals and aspirations

2.⁠ ⁠Access and help applying to recommended echocardiography fellowship across the UK

3.⁠ ⁠Opportunity to develop high-quality material and become faculty on our national and international courses

4.⁠ ⁠Financial support with accreditation fees

5.⁠ ⁠Mentorship to allow you to join the SLICE society as an expert committee member.

2.⁠ ⁠Explain in 500 words (or less) how you use critical care echocardiography in your clinical practice, the impact it has had on the care you deliver and why you want to develop this skill further

3.⁠ ⁠Demonstrate your commitment to medical education thus far.

 

After review by the SLICE committee, an answer will be provided with feedback.
