Service Description
The course operates a ‘flipped classroom’ model, such that all of the theory required for the course is provided in advance in the form of video lectures. This ensures that the entire course is dedicated to providing hands-on teaching with expert faculty. The course is modelled on the level 1 practical exam, with half of the course spent scanning live models, whilst half the course is devoted to image interpretation, studying real cases from the ICU and ED. The course is aimed at individuals with some previous scanning experience, however no lectures and a whole day of working in small groups allows faculty to tailor teaching to the students needs.
